you can format the drive in windows
you might possibly be able to fdisk from windows, however I don't
recommend it.
Use the BOOTABLE floppy/cd that came with the drive. Don't have? get
it from the manufacturers webpage, as a bootable CD ISO/image I
believe now. OR get the bootable floppy files- from www.bootdisk.com

too busy this weekend. Just discovered the joys of standalone dvd
recording.

Pinnacle 8 is wonderful until you actually want to download your master
piece to a viewable form.

very few drive configurations that included 'CS' as a jumper selection, has
ever worked properly for me.

well the latest is i've bought a 133 cable. one of those rounded ones for
better thermal air flow.
