Maybe a querie question

I would like to fill a part of the form(multiple fields) with data from
another table(linked) and the ohter part of the form (or table) manualy. Do
I need a querie or is there another way.

Why not make a sub form that is linked to your main form.
If you don't want it o look like a subform then format it
with same colors and no border or special formatting and
your users will not be able to tell it is separte. That
way you can have your two data sources that are linked.
