Maxthon Browser deletes all system restore points when closing.

All of a sudden when I close Maxthon Browser my system restore points are all
deleted. When I use "IE 6" alone I haven't any problems. If I create the
restore point before or while Maxthon is open the restore point stays until
I close Maxthon, then they are gone.
I recently installed "PE Builder 3.13",ran it, then uninstalled it (within
hours), could I have corrupted some files or moved the location of the
"System Restore" files.
Please advise the logs/report you need to help me here.

Windows XP SP2
AVG 7.0 Professional
Linksys router
and some security programs.

P.S. I have been using Maxthon for about a year now without any problems.

I have included an error report:

The System Restore filter encountered the unexpected error '0xC0000034'
while processing the file 'SetupCenter.ini' on the volume 'HarddiskVolume1'.
It has stopped monitoring the volume.

Forget about System Restore. I've had mine turned off for years. Use ERUNT,
which is far better than System Restore. It's free at:

but that doesn't address the issue, or anything else that might
be going on behind the scenes and should be fixed NOW, before
any other damage is done...

Do you have Automatic Updates enabled? If so, perhaps one
of the recent ones broke things-the latest security updates are
causing problems for a very few users.

Remove them one at a time, trying your restore experiment
between each, to see if it makes a difference. You can always
put them back if it doesn't.
