Maximum Worksheet Size of Excel 2003

Thomas

Hello,
I am doing research for my doctoral degree and my current
database exceeds Excel 2002's maximum worksheet size
(i.e. 65,569 rows by 256 colums). Does anyone know what
is the maximum worksheet size of Excel 2003? Thank you.
Thomas

Have you mistakenly quoted Excel's max size as (i.e. 65,569 rows by 256 colums)
or is that actually the size of your data table. If it is actually the size of
your data table, then maybe a bit of pruning will get you within Excels limits,
ie 65,536 * 256, BUT, if you put that kind of data in any Excel spreadsheet, it
will run like a dog!!!!!!!!!!! If this is the case then it sounds like it may
well be better suited to something like Access.
