Maximum Table Size

Hi,

What is the maximum number of records you can have in a
table in Access 97?

I'm importing postcode data into a table and there are c.
8 million records.

The primary key is a string that will be large enough to
be unique for all the records.

There is no specification for maximum number of records per table or
database. Access 97 allows for a maximum database size of 1 GB.
