Maximum Records

Is there a reference that indicates the maximum number of records that
can/should be saved in a table?
I have a requirement for a database that will have a key table containing
over 5000 records and several related fields that will have several records
per record in the key table.

Check 'specifications' in ACCESS Help. This will show you exactly how many tables, forms report etc you can have in any mdb.

<chuckle> 5000 records is very modest. 5,000,000 records is getting
pretty big. You're in good shape.
