Maximum Characters

Hi All,

How can I lock a cell to a maximum number of 30 characters? I
sometimes happens that other users fill in a long sentence in a colum
called "discription". Does anybody know how I can go about it withou
using VBA.

You could change the name of the column to "description"

Use:

Data > Validation
Select Text Length from the drop down
