Maximize window has offset

Beginning this morning when I click the "maximize" button
in IE the window does not recognize the screen and
maximize properly. I end up with about a 1" offset at the
top of the screen and the window goes past the bottom of
the screen. I can manually resize the window to cover the
entire screen, but as soon as I maximize I end up with the
offset again. All other applications seem to maximize
properly. I have tried resetting screen resolutions and
have rolled back IE and re-installed version 6 with the
latest patches and nothing changes.

I have also scanned with Adaware with no change.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Correctly size Browser width and height.
Snip and paste in Browser window & hit enter:
(*no quotes* - leave the brackets)
"javascript:window.open(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight)"
