maximize screen

I am finding it exceedingly irritating that when i open excel documents, some
that come from other users that they open in a small screen. I maximise them,
close them but even when i come back to them they often open again in the
small scree and i have to maximise them again

Any suggestions please. I am using Excel 2000 service pack 4

#1 -- Quit posting many messages -- 1 will do just fine

#2 -- Open 1, dont maximize using the button but put your mouse cursor at the
edge of the window and clikc and pull it to expand it as far as it will go
hieght and width. SAve and close -- Excel should now remember your settings now
