how do I make all windows maximise. At the moment they all open in seperate
windows and in all different sizes. It is really annoying to constantly have
to press the maximise button

Are you referring to Internet Explorer browser, or other programs. Please be clear.

For IE browser, simply drag the edges of the screen until they are full size. Do a normal close/exit out of IE.
The next session should be in full screen.

This does not apply, always, if the new window is a popup generated at the server in response to some interaction. Those may not be set for maximum size ability ( a clue is they will be missing the MAX button).

windows saves the last window size for next time use, so maxmize the
current window and next time it will be opened maximized
however i think there was such option the taskbar menu
in linux you can maxmize all window with shortcut key, dunno if that
can be done in windows or no

hi T5
open explorer
go to tools
select folder Options
select under general tab
and select 2nd option button under Browse folder options.
this would certainly solve your problem and now onwards it would open new
folder ion the same explorer window.
