MAX PATH Length

Hi,
Does Anyone know how I can find the Maximum Path length
for each OS (Win98, 95, 2000, xp, ME aso.). I searched
everywhere But I just found some hints on some OS but not
exact Info on every OS ...

Do you mean the maximum path length for a given file or command? That is
about 275 characters in XP

Do you mean how long can the PATH environment variable be? That's one of
the great mysteries of life - I've found references, but no definitive
information, that in XP (probably all NT derivatives) to max length of 1024,
2048, 4096.
