"Max. number of fonts exceeded"

J

Jeff

After adding a new hard drive, and reloading my OS and MS
Office, I am getting the following error message when
opening Excel documents:

Some text formatting may have changed in this file
because the maximum number of fonts was exceeded. It may
help to close other documents and try again.

This occurs even if other programs aren't open.

Any clue what I can do to correct this?

Use fewer fonts?

Do you know that you used lots or do you think that you're using just a few?

Maybe make all the fonts Arial and then go a little easier on the font gas
pedal.

Maybe make all the fonts Arial

... or you could even use a good font ? :)

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to
think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone´s fault.
If it was Us, what did that make Me ? After all, I´m one of Us. I must be.
I´ve certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No-one ever thinks
of themselves as one of Them. We´re always one of Us. It´s Them that do
the bad things. <=> Terry Pratchett. Jingo.
