Max fields

Access 2002...
What's the max controls for a Report? I've got one that
has 22 controls that need to go into it and I keep getting
hung-up. Is that too many? Doesn't seem like it should
be!

Max fields is 255, max controls is around 700 I think. Something else is going on.
