mathtype equations

hello,
I used mathytpe to type all equations. However, I have to use another
computer without mathytpe software to print out these mathtype equations.
Unfortunately, I found that some mathtype equations cannot not display
symbols properly in microsoft word (without installing mathytpe).
How do I fix this problem?
Thanks a lot.

I used mathytpe to type all equations. However, I have to use another

equations. Unfortunately, I found that some mathtype equations
cannot not display symbols properly in microsoft word (without

That's only partially correct. In order to EDIT a MathType equation, you
must have MathType (or MathType Lite*) installed. In order to PRINT the
equations, you need as a minimum the MathType fonts. There are three
solutions here:

1. Install the MathType evaluation version from the link in my signature
onto the computer you need to print from. This will install the fonts, which
will remain installed even if you later uninstall the evaluation.

2. Install the MathType fonts onto the comptuer you need to print from. You
can either download the fonts for free from our web site, or you can install
them off your MathType CD.

3. Embed the MathType fonts into your Word document. This isn't an option if
you're using a Macintosh, but I see you're using Windows. There's more
involved in this than simply checking the "Embed TrueType fonts" checkbox in
Word's Save Options. Rather than go into the required steps here, I'll point
you to an article on our web site that covers the subject quite well:
http://www.dessci.com/en/support/tsn/TSN50.htm#embed.

Of course there's a fourth option -- you could buy a copy of MathType and
install it on the computer you want to print from, but I assumed you didn't
want to do that.

*MathType Lite is what the product becomes after 30 days if you install the
evaluation and don't purchase a registration key. It will remain usable in
MathType Lite mode indefinitely, but with many of MathType's features
disabled.
