how do I use them in PowerPoint or in Front Page?

What's MASS?

You can only use VBA *in* PowerPoint (and FP so far as I know).

You can use other scripting/programming languages to automate PPT, though.

Assuming that MASS is a programming language of some sort, does it do COM
automation?

I would think that the MASS download would include instructions.
If not, emailing the author would be the best place to start.
