mass copy of pics into presentation slideshow w/music

Hi, all. I greatly appreciate all the help you've all been. I hope
nobody minds yet another request.

We just got back from a rock climbing/tour of New England trip and would
like to present the pics in a projector slideshow with music to our
mountaineering club. M$ Powerpoint does this but there is a small problem
with using M$ Powerpoint. We have MANY pics and would like to copy many
of them all at once into presentation/slideshow software with music. M$
Powerpoint only allows us to put in one pic at a time which will be very
time-consuming.

Is there any freeware presentation/slideshow software with music that will
allow us to copy many pics at once into it?

TIA yet again,

Bob

gphotoshow can be used either as a screensaver or a slideshow. Dump your
images and music into one directory and simply point photoshow to that
directory. Use either keyboard or time to advance images. You may have to
rename slides and music if you want to show them in order (I think
gphotoshow goes by alphabetical).

Alternately, you can use Irfanview. It will produce slideshows with music.
Again put everything in one directory then follow File | Slideshow
directions.
