Mass conversion from Word Perfect to Word

How do you convert a whole bunch of Word Perfect documents to Word all at once? I have an old version of Word Perfect (5.1) and I need to convert all of my files to Word. It might be a couple of thousand files, so I don't want to do them 1 at a time. Thank for the help.

Hi, Mike,

From the Word Help file:

Convert several documents at once
1.. Place the documents you want to convert in a single folder.


2.. On the File menu, click New, and then click the Other Documents tab.


3.. Double-click Batch Conversion Wizard.
Note If you do not see the Batch Conversion Wizard in the New dialog
box, you may need to install it.

4.. Follow the directions on the screen.
