Mark Messages Unread

I have several folders in Outlook, that I would like for any messages in
them, to always appear unread. I need to do this, so that when looking at
those folders, I know that I have mail in them that needs to be worked
without having to open each folder to find out. Right now outlook is set ot
only show the count of messages in a folder that are unread. I would like
these particular folders to show the count of all messages read or unread.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Right-click the folder, choose Properties and choose "Show total number of
items"

I don't seem to have that option. I'm using Office XP. I have 7 different
tabs under the properties box, but I can't find this option anywhere.

It should be on the General tab. Perhaps it's an Outlook 2003 setting. I
don't have access to Outlook 2002 at the moment. It's always helpful when
you include your Outlook version in the original message.
