Margins/Printable Area

Mike

Hi.

When I go to print my document, I receive the following
error:

"The margins of section one are outside the printable
area of the page. Do you want to continue?"

When I continue, the print-out looks fine. How do I
find "Section 1" to see where my formatting exceeds the
margins? How do I correct this?

Thanks,
Mike.

Mike,
Look at the bottom of your screen in the statusbar of Word. You will see pg
1 se 1 (section one) ... Most documents consist of one section, you can add
sections yourself or Word can add them automatically e.g. when you select a
portion of a document and put it in textcolumns.
Alternatively you could search for your sections by hitting F5 which gives
you a dialogue, at your left you can choose for sections, put the number in
and hit go to.
Most printers have a non printing area so it is advisable to not exceed
these limits otherwise you might end up with a truncated document.
Greetings
Luc
