Margin error on C80??

When printing landscape mode on W98/USB shifts to left side of page by
5/8". Anyone see margin errors like this?

Also, checked paper registration, alignment utility, tested on XP,
multiple apps (Word, Corel)

If the problem occurs in multiple apps, it's probably in the Epson setup.
Did you check that you have the items in the Paper tab under Printing
Preferences set up correctly: Paper Size=your paper, Printable
Area=Standard? Also, the Layout tab should have everything unchecked.

Thanks for taking the time to offer suggestions. All the options are
correctly checked. I notice I'm getting a shift on portrait setting too.
Seems the print heads are just printing too far to the left. I'm
starting to believe it may be hardware.
