I need to map a drive from my XP machine to a folder on my Vista machine. I
have the folder shared but I cannot see it to map to it. I can't even add it
to My Network Places.

Can someone please help?????

Do you have file sharing set up successfully between the two computers?
If yes, what happens if you search for the XP computer name? Do you then
see the share? If you haven't set up the sharing successfully, refer to

Both network names are ABS. The Vista machine can see the XP and I have
mapped drives on the Vista to the XP machines fine.

The XP machine needs to access some files on the Vista machine. I have both
the C drive shared with full permissions and I have also shared a specific
folder named "Company" which is the folder I want the XP machine to access.
When I try to map, I see the Vista machine but I can't choose any drives
from it. I'm obviously missing something on the Vista side.

I tried to enclose a couple of screen shots for reference but my Outlook
Express won't send them through.

Thanks Richard and Malke for trying to help me out on this.

Are your network names the same on both systems?
