Mapping a network drive

For some strange reason, I am no longer able to map my
existing network drive. I get the message about not
enough server storage available. Does anyone know a
resolution?

Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.
 
There are a couple things not straightforward here...or perhaps just left out.

First, the TARGET computer gets the edits; that is, the computer to be
mapped, not the one doing the mapping; and

Second, after the registry edit, the computer needs to be rebooted.

It is not just Norton, either, as I ran into this issue with the removal of
Norton System Works and installation of the Trend Micro antivirus and
firewall product.
