How many DCs are you guys implementing?
It is possible that the domain controllers are not
replicating correctly and the user is pulling the logon
script off of another server.

If this is not the case, I would verify that user did not
unjoin himself from the domain and set up his own policy
for the account. Users, especially the "road warrior"
type like doing that.

All servers are domain controllers, and there's many. What
puzzles me is that it's only a few laptops, that have been
taken off the network and re-introduced. They are still
part of the domain. AD tells them which login script to
use. Puzzling... Any other ideas?
