Hello,
I work with a rather large network and am having trouble when attaching an
item to e-mail it defaults to the wrong location on the network, I'd love to
correct this! Below is my best description of what I have knowledge of at
this time.
In Outlook / New Mail / Insert File: I do not think “My Documents†are
mapped correctly, in other words this function defaults to the wrong file.
Q: How do I get this function to default to a particular file location when
selected?
I did attempt this and now have a problem. In Outlook / New Mail / Insert
File menu I attempted to change the default location. From the Insert File
menu I went into Tools / Map Network Drive. At this Map Network Drive menu I
selected an existing drive and browsed to the correct folder. At this
juncture I do not remember the prompt when I finished but it somehow created
a new, or mirrored, drive.
Q: How can I undo or go back to the previous setup, to eliminate adding a
new or mirrored drive?
