Map network drive

Using Vista Business, I'm unable to map a drive on our LAN. The computer sees
the network server and shares, but when I try to map a share, I get a dialog
box requesting username and password. After completing that, I get a second
box showing server/user then a blank for password. When I fill that out and
enter, I get an error message Logon unsuccessful: Windows is unable to log
you on. Be sure that your username and password are correct.

It's very frustrating because I did a clean reinstall from XP.

Are you in an Active Directory domain? Was the Vista computer properly
joined to the domain?
