map custom fields grayed out

i did an export to file using access as the destination, and some entries
from journal as the source. the first time i did it, it worked fine. but
now i can never do it again. when i get to the screen that has the map
custom fields option, its grayed out. I've tried saving under different
names and locations with no luck. anyone have suggestions. thanks

also to update, I am using office 2003 with ser pak 2, all the latest updates
as far as i can tell.
