Many contacts' birthdays are December 1899

Hi there

I am using Outlook 2003 and Exchange Server. In my list of contacts I
have noticed that a lot of them have come up with a birthday in
December 1899. Does anybody know why this is the case? And is there
a way to quickly remove all of these in one go?

Many Thanks,
Lloyd

Hi Diane

Thank you for the reply. I am syncing with a handheld device and
these are just in the contact's birthday field.

I could manually go through each respective birthday in the contact
list view and set it to None but this would be rather arduous: if
there is a simple solution or a macro to deal with this that would be
a great help.

Create a group by view that shows the birthday field. Drag all of the items
with bum dates to the none group. If there isn't a none group change 1
contact to have none for the date.
