Hi,
I'm having a problem trying to manage a computer , part of
a domain from the PDC. When I open the Active Directory
Users and Computers console I can see the computer I want
to manage. When I right click and select Manage I get the
message "Computer \\..... cannot be managed. The network
path was not found".
Any ideas what is causing this?

To Jimmy
I am not sure what I need to check.
The thing is I can connect to the machine from the PDC, I
can ping to it ,but it seems that when I try to "manage"
it the connection processs uses the fully qualified name
<computer name>.<domain name>.local and fails.
Regards!

Can you ping the <computer name>.<domain name>.local or resolve it. If not
you may not have set a correct DNS Server in your TCP/IP Settings.
