Another question, sorry for having so many posts in here.

What is the file manage.exe? I asked because I ran some type of Norton Scan
and it found and deleted that file, now I have no system utilites, ie;
restore, msconfig, etc. And I can't do a system restore.

thanks for info

Apparently your sys is infected with virus/malaware/trojans
Turn off sys restore, then start cleaning your sys. Turn sys restore back on
only after your sys is clean

Your problems may not directly relate the action taken by Norton.
Read the link below -section Winservn in the Task column:
http://209.85.129.104/search?q=cach...asklist_w.htm+"manage.exe"&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=4

Same link, which can be used if the one above is broken:

Do not use System Restore until you have removed the Trojan
as if System Restore works it could bring the problem back.
You need to create a new restore after removal.

What Norton programme are you using? You most likely have
other Spyware which Norton may not detect. Here a choice of
other freeware anti-spyware programmes you can use:

This link offers good advice regarding how to deal with Spyware.

Msconfig is a troubleshooting which unfortunately too often is used
to manage what loads at Start Up. There are other better ways to do this.
Always look in the programme itself first for a way to control whether it
loads
when you boot the computer.

Hope this helps.
