"malicious script detected" message

I downloaded a copy of MS SQL Server Books Online, but
when I try to install it, Norton AntiVirus gives me the
message "Malicious script detected", and recommends
canceling the install (which I do).

Info provided by Norton is:
Object: File System Object
Activity: GetFolder
File: MsiExec.exe

Is there truly a problem? How should I proceed?

It's not a problem. MsiExec is the Windows Installer - it's just trying to
copy files to your hard disk. Norton is being overly cautious.
