Making text appear ......

Guest

I have Powerpoint 2002 and I'm trying to show a map of the world that has
'North America, South America, Europe' etc written on it. I want to know is
it posible if you have your mouse over the country that additional text can
apear and then disappear? And if you go to a different country it will do the
same? I've tried to do a hyperlink but it doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Melanie,

if you need the additional text to appear on mouseover, try Sonia's tipp, to
which Michael and Chirag pointed you. If you are projecting your slides
onto a big screen, the typo of the QuickInfos might be too small. In this
case, and if a click instead of mouseover is acceptable, you might use
trigger animations to make the labels appear. Holler back, if you need more
information on this method.

Kind regards,
Ute

Melanie,

what everyone else said...but also, this is pretty cool also

So you know where we are going:

1. We will hyperlink each state to a slide that has that particular state on
it, with the state faded for effect.

2. We will also hyperlink a box on the slide master to the first slide
(Australia).

3. We will add Screen Tips that will pop up on viewing.
