Making Outlook default mail program?

Hi.

How can I make Outlook 2003 my default mail application, I'm no longer prompted
upon opening the application and I'm now stuck with another program as the
default mail application.

Finally, why doesn't Outlook 2003 include a newsgroup reader? That seems
strange. It has to open traditional Outlook. Thanks for the helpl
 
You can do this at menu bar:
Tools > Options, "other" tab, under general coloumn you
should have an option to select Outlook 2003 as your
default mail handler.
