This is weard I have a database that I would like to make to an MDE File but
try as much following the steps I can't. I have split the database and
converted to the current version because the database is in access 2000 and
am using access 2003 any help Doug Steele or anyone

You must convert the database to Access 2002/2003 format before you can
create an MDE file in Access 2003.

If you need the MDE in Access 2000 format (say, because most of your users
are using Access 2000), you have no choice but to create the MDE using
Access 2000.

No its like this I made the database in access 2003 but when I tried to make
the MDE the message was the Database is in 2000 format I have to convert
it.From there I can't move coz I have converted and even split the Database
but still am getting the message it can't be made to an MDE File

If Access is still saying it's in Access 2000 format, then I'd suspect you
didn't do the conversion to Access 2002/2003 format correctly.

It's under Tools | Database Utilities.
