Some years ago I wrote a web page in word. It was awful. Now I designed a
really nice one in power point but I can' t get it in the web page? Do I
have to remove the one designed in word first, which I can't seem to be able
to do anyway. It's been some years since I worked at this but I thought if I
just sent this one to the web page it would over print it but it doesn't get
there, I don't know where it goes

In my estimation, neither Word or PowerPoint are designed to create web pages.
If the web pages in PowerPoint are named the same as the ones in Word (which I
doubt) then one should replace the other when uploaded to your server.

You could use Microsoft's FrontPage. Depends on how comfortable you feel writing
html coding there are a number of free (lite version) html editors out there
Coffee Cup and Hotdog are a couple.
