making a pps such that it closes ppt once its slideshow is over

i want to make a ppt such that when it runs on slide show as soon as the
slide show is over without any mouse move or click or keyboard event it
should automatically
close that is my requirement.

I would wait for your comment on these

Well... not quite sure this is what you want but here's a quick solution:
SLIDE SHOW | SET UP SHOW and set option for show to end without a black
screen.

3 things to do,

As already mentioned, uncheck the "End on Black Slide Box".

Still in slide-show setup - uncheck "Loop Continuously until ESC"

On your last slide - Slide Transition, tick "Automatically After" and enter
a time.

Think that will do it!

In addition to what has alredy been said, I think you want to save your
presenation as a PowerPoint Show (*.pps). This will launch the right into
slide show mode and exit PowerPoint altogether when finished. Exactly how
the slide show finishes is covered by the other answers.
