Making a password protected page on a website in Frontpage 2002

Hello everybody. Please can anybody help me with my little problem. I am a
complete Novice at web-building, and I have made a website for the RAF
Enduro team at : http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/rafenduro . because of the RAF
requirement that I cannot show future events to public access ( anti
terrorism etc), and need to have these up for the team members to view
wherever they may be in the world, I want to have the race calendar page
protected with a password/username, issued by me to RAF team members to
access for themselves. I am having lots of trouble finding a way to do it,
especially as I am clueless in html, new to FrontPage, and as this is a
voluntary form of work, looking to do it for nowt, so don't want to buy any
add-ons/programs. I have looked through the threads here, and thought i had
cracked it with knowledge base 301954, but it doesn't work as the "tools" -
"server" part of the instructions won't work on my pc ( i cant click on
"server" as it is grey). i am on an old computer (K6/2 500Mhz)connected to
my broadband connection, so is there anything i could try before i have to
remove the page?
thanks in advance for any help
Nathan

In order to follow the instructions in the KB, your host must allow you to create subwebs and set
unique permissions. Even if you could do this on your PC, it would be of no use since the
permissions would not be transferred to the remote server.

Since you are concern with security, then you do not want to even consider running your own server.

In addition to what Thomas said...for Server (the grayed out choice) to work you must be online with the server - it will appear grayed (or greyed) out when you are working with your local web.
