Making a dual boot with Vista Upgrade over XP

E

Edric

Hi

I have read the news about Vista Upgrade (no clean install). I have XP Pro
Full, activated, on my drive C: I was planning to buy Vista Ultimate
Upgrade, and install it on drive D: (formatted and blank), so I could have
the dual boot menu. Is that possible, or Vista will just upgrade my XP and
leave its data there, but with no possibility of acessessing the legacy
system?

I really need to have both systems.

Tks

You would need to purchase a "Full Version" of Windows Vista
if you wish to dual-boot with Windows XP. The upgrade version
can only be used if you intend to upgrade Windows XP to Vista.
