Making a 2000$ computer, for less than 200$

My brother-inlaws-brother-in law (my sisters husbands sisters husband)
build an amazing computer, equal to a dell 8400 (previously 2grand when
it was made) and he made it for 200$. Why isnt there small companies
that do it and sell them for 500$ and make good profite, and then be
biger? im sure they can do it!

You're brother-in-law's brother-in-law, eh? Is he the same guy who
woke up in a hotel bathtub full of ice, with both kidneys missing?

From what I see, it's damn hard to beat OEM prices. But it's easy to
get old machines for 0-10 cents on the dollar vs. original cost.

I dont' think you can build a system for 200 dollars. you forget that
the WINDOW OS is 99 dollars.....
