MakeTable, rename with current date

Using a Make Table query, is there a way to have the new table name reflect
the current table name underscore current date? I want to set up a macro
that will backup a table before users upload data.

You've described one solution to a problem, but not much about the
underlying problem/business need.

If you want to take advantage of the many perspectives these newsgroups can
offer, describe the problem and see what potential solutions the folks here
come up with.

For example, if you need to keep the "old" data and add "new" data, one easy
way to do this is to avoid the Make Table altogether and just include an
extra field in the table to store the [DateLoaded].
