make image into autoshape

I know how to draw an autoshape, and do the freehand, but how could I insert
an image in as an autoshape? For example, I want to take an image which is an
outline of a state (any state) and make it an autoshape, so that I can use
the fill color tool and fill in the state a certain color. any ideas?

Hi Mike,

Right click the shape > Format > Color and Lines > select the color.

If you want an image/pic under Color and Lines is Fill effects > picture >
select pic > insert > OK > OK.

I don't think I am explaining my issue correctly. Trying to make a fillabel
outline of a state. I think I figured it out. You have to import in the
autoshape area, and then have an image created already which has a
transparent background.
