make heading column stationary

How do you make the heading of columns stay their while you scroll the rest
of information up and down?

Click on the row header 2 (left side of worksheet)
Use Windows|Freeze Panes
Now when you do vertical scroll row 1 is always visible

If your headers are in row 1, starting in cell A1....

Select cell A2
Goto Window>Freeze Panes

Thanks to all for the response and helping me. I have another question, can
one make the first row be zero or nothing so that the second row is one?
