make an area of a DWT non-editable

Michael

I saved a page as a .dwt but it all seems to be editable. How do I mark an
area as non-editable?

All parts of a DWT will be editable. But only in the DWT, not in the child
pages that are spawned from that DWT. If this doesn't make sense to you,
then please spend some time in HELP reading about using Templates before you
get into real trouble! 8)

You don't, it is supposed to be editable. You then create new pages from the
DWT and only the editable regions are editable.

And by the way - non-editable regions are determined by negative inference.
This means that in any template-based page, only the editable regions are in
fact editable, and all other regions are non-editable.
