Major Problem - Help!

Suddenly I am unable to right click anything and none of
the drop down menus will appear. When I try to type using
Word, the drop down menus will constantly appear for no
reason and some of the letters won't even type.

Any idea what is wrong and how I can fix it?
 
Since this problem appeared "suddenly", then I suspect that something
changed at that moment. Do you have any ideas about what changed? Any
config changes? Any new software? Possiblity of introduction of a virus
or worm or something?

I did have the Worm/Mydoom.F virus but I ran my anti-virus
and got rid of it, but the problem did not go away.
