So... what does this board offer over the older A8R-MVP, aside from a
heavily inflated pricetag? Dual x16 lanes doesn't present any benefits in
real life.

Rats!! I was depending on this mainboard.

Typical ATi.... a few more BIOS and motherboard driver
updates and all will be well. Have patience. Nice not being an
"early adopter" sometimes.....avoids stress, heart attacks
and ulcers.

Yada yada yada. My black/purple Soltek motherboard is completely hidden
inside my case, which is tucked under my desk. It's not like you'd be
impressing women with a PC.
