when I saved my powerpoint presentation as jpeg files and then burned them to
a CD the slide order is all jumbled when it plays, how can I assure that my
slide order will stay as I want it

pkmouse,

chances are the filenames are something like this

slide1.jpg
slide2.jpg
etc
slide10.jpg
slide11.jpg

I imagine the running order would then be
slide 1, slide 10, slide 11, slide 2 etc

as most devices sort things alphabettically.

Incidently what are you using to play back the JPGs?

Cheers

As TAJ suggests, that may depend on what you're using to play the JPGs.

Try renaming all of the Slide1.jpg, Slide2.jpg ... Slide9.jpg files to
Slide01.jpg, Slide02.jpg and so on.

That should make them alphabetize correctly.

If you need to do this often, have a look at our Image Exporter addin, which'll
do this automatically. There's a free fully functional demo at

I burned the Jpegs to a CD and am playing it back in my DVD player. Thanks
for the info, if I rename the slides with alphabet letters, will they play in
order then?

Thanks so much for the help! It is a presentation for a preschool graduation
of my students and I wanted them in order! This will help!
