I have a slide deck of 40 slides that was sent to me for editing. I have
edited all the fonts to be the same - edited them all to be white due to the
blue background color. I have edited them to have no shadow and not to be in
bold. I got through all 40 slides had them looking perfect and after I
clicked saved; closed it down and went and re-opened it; everything that I
had edited was gone. Some words are now black; some with shadow; some
bold-it's back to where I originally started. What setting or option do I
need to change?

Yes after playing with the slide deck all morning and most of the afternoon
now I finally figured out that the slide master had all these weird settings
and they had five different slide masters. So I ended up deleting four of
them and then formatting the one the way I wanted it and it's working
perfectly.

Thanks

The problem might be with the slide master. What text settings do you have
selected there?
