main form/Sub form

Hi,
when I created a main form and a sub form and would like
to link them, a Child Link field and Master Link field
message tells me that: Can't build a link between unbound
form. Do you know why and how I can solve this problem?

Have you set the RecordSources for the Main Form and the Subform?
