Mails opening behind main window

Hi,

I have Office 2003. I use Outlook to access my GMail account. Whenever I
open an email, new or read, it opens then pops behind the main Outlook
screen in a split second. Any ideas why? Do I need to re-install Office?
Or am I just missing a setting?

I don't use O2003 but many people mention this problem. Search for
existing answers, if any.

As ProfDD says, it has been mentioned before. One person said they solved
their problem by deleting everything in the folder
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook, but I think that's going too far. Try deleting
just the outcmd.dat and the {profilename}.xml file. I can't imagine the NK2
or SRS file has anything to do with it.
