mails get struck in outbox

hi,

the mails get struck in my outbox.not all mails...many mails goes thru
without any problem but some get struck in my outbox..some get thru after a
day...after two days...

i am person who get lots of mails every day and infact i have stored
thousands and thousands of mail..my sent items has lots of mails..and my pst
has many folders ..each has many inbox mails...

infact my company uses pop server...it doesnt use exchange server......

wat could be the reason for this problem..it is with my outbox or with the
server...becos in my company i am the only person get this problem..as my
thousands mails with me and also i get lot of mails..may be my pop account
get flooded in my server...i trying hard to figure it out..
could help me ...finding a solution for this..?

wat could be the reason for this problem..it is with my outbox or
with the server...

A couple of things can cause this. One is a send/receive interval that is
set too low. You shouldn't be checking for new mail any more frequently
than about 10 minutes. The other is a server timeout value that is too low.
Increase this on the Advanced tab of your account properties pages.
