Mailing without carnet d'adresse

Hi

I have to do a mailing: thing which I have no experience in.

It concerns three block of flats with around 1000 habitations each with the
same address except for the numbers of the flats of course.

How should I go about this when printing the envelopes.

Is there a macro out there which can change the number and generate the
envelopes without a 1000 interventions?
